See these fantastic photos of the intrepid walkers who braved the elements and hazardous terrain on Tuesday 12 January, walking and sliding from Churchinford to school.
10 children and 8 members of staff, (Mrs Molton was behind the camera, just in case you thought we couldn't count!), wrapped up warm and treked through the deep, snow covered roads.
Everyone appeared to enjoy the experience, although Mrs Frost kept saying "I'm not going to complain. I'm not going to complain" all the way to school! It was a long 45 minutes, I can tell you!
We encounted several wild animals on our journey - at least half a dozen black, furry, four legged beasts, staring at us as we struggled on by, and, having reached our destination, discovered three white, furry, four legged beasts in our car park! Maybe the teaching staff had come by a different form of transport!?
Safe and sound after our adventure, we all dispersed to our classrooms, whilst I made Mrs Frost a cup of warming coffee to cheer her up!
The return journey was even more challenging, as the snow had begun to fall and was being blown into our faces, as our hardy little group battled onwards towards Churchinford!
