Moor Lane Plant Sale – 8 May (10.30 – noon)
The Friends of Churchstanton School have been approached by the organisers of the Annual Moor Lane Plant Sale to see if we would like to run a cake stall on Saturday 8 May. All proceeds from the sale of this stall will go to support Churchstanton School.
We therefore need an army of willing volunteers to bake their socks off!!!!
Donations of cakes, bakes, biscuits – whatever your speciality is will be very gratefully accepted!!
Victorian Christmas Fayre
We know it was a long time ago and a few big things have happened in the interim (?!!) but the Friends would like to thank everyone who made the Fayre such a wonderful event. In particular we would like to thank Mr Mills and the staff for allowing the children to perform on the stage. We recognise that this took a monumental amount of effort with all the distractions and noise of the Fayre but you all did brilliantly.
Seasons Greetings one and all!

Your Friends fundraising committee would like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a thoroughly wonderful New Year!
27th November
Plans are now well underway for our Victorian Christmas Fayre on the last day of term (Friday 18th December). As well as raising essential funds for the benefit of all of our children here at Churchstanton Primary, we also want the Christmas Fayre to be a very sociable occasion!
13th November
We would like to warmly welcome and congratulate Jo Jones, Serena Kerr and Elaine Walker for being brave enough to join Claire, Scott and Pernelle on the Friends Committee! Our grateful thanks go to outgoing Committee members Janine Cunningham and Julia Hamilton for all their hard work and valuable contributions.

It was lovely to see so many of you at the information sessions yesterday. Now that you know what we are about, the Friends very much hope to welcome some new faces – both to our team of fundraisers and to the events that we put on.
New fundraising ideas are always most welcome – as are willing pairs of hands to lighten the load!
