School Absences

If your child is absent from school it is very important that you telephone the school office on the first morning of your child’s absence to report the reason.

Additionally, if your child needs to leave school early or arrives after registration has closed, please ensure they are signed into/out at the office. 

Coughs and Colds

Please could I remind parents not to send your children to school if they are suffering with various ailments until they are on the road to recovery.  This will help prevent the spread of colds within the school.  Infection can also be prevented from being spread to others by reminding children to take simple precautions:

• Covering their nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing, using a tissue when possible.
• Disposing of dirty tissues promptly and carefully.
• Washing hands frequently with soap and water to reduce the spread of the virus from your hands to your face or to other people.

 Cross Country

Cross Country running has started again; we meet at School on Tuesday’s at 8.10 am. Please come along and join us, it’s a great way to start the day!

Netball

Netball has re-started on a Wednesday afternoon, and will finish at 4.30pm. Due to the number of children attending this club, Curly and Jan would like another volunteer to help. If you are able to help, please speak to either of the above.

Curry Night

There is still time to buy tickets for the “Curry Night” on Saturday 21^st January. Please come along and

support this fund raising event, it promises to be a lot of fun, great food, bar, quiz, raffle and more.......Tickets are available from the office.
