Nine players from Class 2 played in a football tournament on Tuesday at The Castle School Astro Pitch.

Several pupils from Churchstanton took part in a cross country competition last night, held at Stockland Primary School. They all did incredibly well and for some it was their first time but; fantastically every one of them finished the course and they are still smiling! A special mention must go to Millie and Emily who came 7th and 8th respectively in the Year 3 and 4 race and Sophie W. who finished 9th competing against Year 6 children!
The teams were:
Travis, Alfie, Connor and Harvey W.
Millie, Emily, Frankie and Hayley
Robbie, Sam, Harvey S. and Matthew
Sophie W., Jenny, Sophie M and Issy
Seven children took part in their first Tag Rugby tournament yesterday, held at Bishop Fox’s school. It took a couple of games before they gelled as a team and got used to moving into space and passing the ball. They won 2 of their 4 games and the overall standard of play was very good, with a promising outlook for future fixtures. Well done to Anna. Ellie, Amber, Jessica, Ollie, David and Anton.
