The 2012 Committee

The committee of Friends for 2012 is as follows:

Chairperson: Sara Moore
Treasurer: Elaine Walker
Joint Secretary : Sam Ely and Debbie Cairns

The committee are ably supported by other members and helpers drawn from parents of children at the school. The fundraising efforts of the Friends are invaluable in providing additional facilities for children at the school as agreed in conjunction with the Head Teacher.

Friends have previously funded such items as trips to the theatre for the whole school, sports drinks bottles and basketball equipment as well as library software. Friends raise funds by way of an annual School Fete, generally held in July, together with other events as agreed by the committee.

As well as being a fundraising body, the Friends aim to help with parent integration to the school. We have held events such as discos and welly walks which make minimal profit but whose aim is to get parents,staff and children together, having a good time!
