Nativity
Class 1 put on another fantastic nativity, Christmas with the Aliens, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in the audience! Someone even described the performance as out of this world. A big thank you must go to all the children involved and Mrs Holt!
The retiring collection plate raised an amazing £111.97 which will go towards the costs of the production. Thank you.
Netball
Netball has now finished for this term. The first session after Christmas will be on Wednesday, 11th January.
Hot School Meals
There will be NO hot lunches for the first three days in January, meals will begin the week commencing 9th. The lunches will begin on Week 2 of the menu.
Carol Service
The carol service will be held this Friday, 16th December at 10.00 am.
Bingo and Mistletoe
Thank you to those who came along and supported the bingo evening last Friday. A good time was had by all, especially Julie Betteridge and family who won several prizes! Special thanks must go to Scott Nelmes for his excellent calling skills and to Claire Bleloch and Jan Cunningham for running the event for us. £370 was raised.
Next Tuesday and Wednesday The Friends we will be selling mistletoe after school, please bring along some money to snap up a bargain bunch!.
Class Christmas Parties
The children will be holding their class parties on Thursday afternoon. Could each year group bring in a plate of food as detailed below which will be shared:
Reception & Year 1 - Savoury
Year 2 - Sweet
Year 3 & 4 - Sweet
Year 5 & 6 - Savoury
Dance Club
We are thinking of holding a dance club next term on either a Tuesday of Friday after school. The sessions will be run by a professional dance teacher and the cost per week will be £3.00. If you are interested please can you return the slip at the end of the letter and indicate you day preference.
